slowhandJames Posted April 26, 2012 Share Posted April 26, 2012 I am new to this repair stuff..I have almost no volumn from the bridge pickup if I turn down the single coil middle pickup..The tone and volumn does blend a sound into the middle when the bridge is selected on the toggle switch,but no real volumn..seems more like just tone adjustment..same in middle position of toggle switch... other than this the guitar works fine ..absolutly no hum or anything out of the norm...I have pulled out the harness...DONT TRY THIS AT HOME !!!!!!wOW!!!seems to be wired correct,and no blaitant grounds..but their is alot of braided grounded wire..possible burn through ..I dont know...What could cause the volumn to be almost non exsistant to the treble pickup but still seem to have tone control of same pickup when blending with other pickups.....any help would be very much appreciated..
