TomL
Hi All, Hope this is the appropriate place to ask this. Been trying to find model name and info about my Epiphone that I have had for years. The label was gone from the inside , so I was never able to identfy it. Can anyone help? Thanks! Tom
StijnV
To me the guitar appears to be an FT 550. You can find attached the specifications of this model.
EpiAlan
It appears to have a Gibson headstock with epiphone written on it, and the E on the pic guard looks different. Could this be a counterfeit?

Its the FT-350BL (in the spec sheet, but not shown), not the 550. The 550 had the 3-piece Jacaranda/Maple back & Jacaranda sides. This guitar clearly has figured maple sides. Pretty much the same guitar otherwise.

TomL
very nice guitar, by the way Thanks so much for the help guys! I've had this guitar for many years. Bought it at a garage sale for $60. !! the finish was in much better shape then. I have gigged pretty extensively with it, and love the tone of it. Recently tried the Toneworks Heritage Series strings on it and it sounds really nice. Thanks again for the help in identifying it..........T
TommyK
I'm thinking someone messed up on that specs page. While the copy says 350 (not shown), it says the 350 has Rosewood rims. The guitar shown does not have maple rims. Either mahogany or rosewood. Whatever this one is, it's a professional model, and purty too. Can we get a walkin' away pic of yours? The face of yours reminds me of Andy Griffith's D-18.

FT-350 = Rosewood back & sides FT-350BL = Maple back & sides FT-550 = Jacaranda/maple/jacaranda back & jacaranda sides
