Johnt
I have one Gibson acoustic so it has to be my favourite.........despite the laquer cracks around the neck binding. I just love playing it! Gigged my 335 for the first time on saturday so she has to get a mention as well. Yes I will go with SWD too only my 12. Despite the globs of glue around the bridge. But 75% of the time if I want a quick play it' s my beloved "despised, below production standard" Norlin J45 that takes the biscuit!
Lucky Boy
It is the Cascade. My best friend has a SWD, and I love to play that one also. I think the reason the Cascade is my favorite is because it's so comfortable to hold. It just feels right.
suburude63
My favorites are these, all three! Each has its own sound and attraction! I really do love all three!
Dave in SLC
Nice guitar, Hoss! <smile> Good thing it comes with the extra 'hula' bling, though, or it would be 'way too plain! Dave in SLC
Taylor Player
Got to be my AJ...(since it is my only Gibby, but even if it weren't, it would likely be my favorite Gibson)
Hoss
Subu- Nice looking set, there! One of these days I've got to sit down with a J-185 and figure what that's about. :) Dave- this one is a keeper. I keep grabbing it every day-- why do I have any others? Only took about three different visits to the repair shop--but I'll bring it along to Homecoming so you can see what I mean. FWIW- the decal was my 'personal touch'-- vintage all the way. Rambler
Suburude--beautiful top on your AJ. Is that a stika/IR combo? My AJ also has a lot of figure and the sides/back shows some ripple as well. It's more buttery than some AJs Ive played in shops. Wondering where yours falls in the tonal spectrum. JK glad to see you left off the pick guard on that JK. i think it looks better with out it. it's what attracted me to it in the first place. i bought a '99 AJ off ebay and it arrives today. hoping i like it! if i do, my slope collection will be complete. riiiight. gighand
Presently my 92 Explorer is my fave. It took me a few gigs to warm up to it, but now we are agreement. I will turn my fancy to another axe soon enough but right now this one does it for me.

SRV-Zeppelin
Does it have to be an acoustic? My favourite (and only) Gibson is my Les Paul (see avatar.)

Looking forward to seeing it, Hoss! By the way, the Fuller's J-35 Reissue in my photo is one of my two favorite Gibsons, and is the one I reach for when backing up old-time music. My other favorite is an '07 AJ, which has the 'tone-to-die-for!' <smile> Happy holidays! Dave in SLC
ineedfans
Hey, haven't been around in forever, but wanted to chime in here....My favorite has become my Gibson Gospel Reissue - a vastly underrated and undervalued guitar as far as Gibson's go. It just seems right for most situations. Happy Thanksgiving!! Steve V

saintzband
My current fav is my '02 Desertburst Standard Plus shown in my pic. My SG Supreme probably sounds the best and has the best action (but I hate the neck-heaviness of an SG). My Studio also has great action and decent tone (thanks to Classic 57's), yet this one just looks and feels right. How do you argue with that? Desi has a JB at the bridge and a Classic 57 + at the neck. Kirk

nid2007
Like Hoss's, this one has clearly seen some stories. It definitely came close to ending its life thru botched repairs, but all is GOOD now. My bedroom guitar. Plays like butter and is the loudest LG I've ever come across.
