I was wondering if anyone knew where i could find some of Django's later recordings of him playing electric guitar, where he was developing more of a Bebop jazz style.

Anyone know a CD name i can snag?

Thanks!

I've a couple of Django sets I'd heartily recommend;

There's a 3-CD set on Not Now records, NOT3CD033, which covers the years 1934-53 with 71 tracks. There is quite a lot of his later stuff here.

Also worth hunting down is a 7-CD(!) set on Complete Roots - The Works Records, SBLUECD 703 X. 143 tracks on that one. This only covers '34 - '39 but it's pretty comprehensive and a great thing for those who like the Hot Club de France stuff...

I have a bunch of CD's from the Hot Club of France.

I'll check out the Not Now records, thanks!
