Just thought of it again when I had posted my Gibson TP-6 question. It looks like if the info thread was about Epiphone only... Can I find any help to decode serial numbers of Gibson USA guitars made before 1977, and after 1999 here?

Can I find any help to decode serial numbers of Gibson USA guitars made before 1977, and after 1999 here? I say contact Gibson Customer Service......They should be able to help you....And, ask the same question on the Gibby Lounge........ I'm not aware of any online comprehensive Gibby serial # database........
