moosesyr
I just got a J-45 off E-Bay. It was the one signed by Jackie Greene. It's a 2006 in pristine condition. I've removed the signature (Sorry Jackie, I'll probably regret it when you get really huge). I'll learn a couple of his songs to replace mojo. Questions: It has the plastic button Gotoh tuners, were these stock that year? Do they change components year to year? The label says J-45. The inspection card says 'VS'(vintage sunburst)? Guitar is great! It really booms! It blows my Larrivee L-05 away volume wise. Cheers, Mike

jdd707
Congratulations! Yeah, we had a long discussion here about the "VS" and determined that it was vintage sunburst. Enjoy your J45.
EuroAussie
Congrats, definitelyl prefer the butter bean tuners on the J-45, now get some brown shoepolish and give em a vintage look !

flatbaroque
Love my standard J-45.It's only in the last few years I have been able to afford higher end acoustics. When I went to buy my first all solid wood guitar I was not very knowledgable...a J-45 was a bit out of my range...i played one for the first time and thought..wow this really has a unique sound I like........long story short..the salesman talked me into a Larrivee D-03..lots of BS about subtle overtones...Gee I thought I better get those overtones..haha..... Got a J-45 in Japan and the Larrivee never gets played anymore....unless by a visiting friend
