mooseguy
Does anyone know somebody who knows anybody who owns an Epiphone Excellente original or reissue? I sure would like to compare notes with the loneliest owners on earth. Amelia Earhart or Captain Noonan would probably be easier to find-I should know as I have already had an in depth conversation with Tonto regarding how he broke Silver's gas passing habit while the Lone Ranger was out chasing his squaw. mooseguy
still have the sunburst. Happy to know some one besides me is still playing one -my acoustic-electric burst is getting to sound much better now that its being giged a lot whereas it was not played much by the former owner. I am still getting warmed up over here with the hope to someday jam with your bunch if I ever get to the UK. Regards, Moose

mooseguy
Moose, do you have a sunburst Excellente EL Capitan: Yes-I have a sunburst acoustic-electric Excellente with built in pre amp. Sounds good through an amp and about like other acoustic reissue Excllentes unpluged. Have never seen another except one for sale in Austrailia several years ago. Regards, Moose P.S. Cheers, El(vis, had he lived) El Capitan My burst sure looks like yours-is probably heavier than yours due to the preamp Our conversation reminds me of a great country song called "If You Show Me Yours, I'lle Show You Mine" Regards, Moose
