Favourite Epiphone headstock?

Recommended Posts

As the title suggests, what is your favourite Epiphone headstock?

Mine is the archtop body type... especially the early sheraton and elitist sheraton ones!

How hard is it to change the headstock design? I love my Les Paul Standard, and wouldn't dream of giving it up for anything...but I would like to get away from Les Paul's signature. It just doesn't look as classy as it ought to.

+1. Without a doubt!!

Love the 60's Sheraton headstock, now if we could get a Sheraton with the vintage headstock. There is also something that looks right about a Les paul or an SG with an "open book" headstock.

Bikini

Notes ♫

I always thought of this as the "Kelvinator" given its resemblance to the logo of an appliance brand back in (whatever) day. "Bikini" does bring nie thoughts, though; and thanks, Notes, for reminding me of this one! BTW--looks good on some of the old amp models, too.

Awesome one! Very old-school Epi style!

There's nothing better than the Elitist stocks! The real MOP and Abalone are so pretty! I just wish I could truly capture with the lens what my eye can actually see!
