From the Why Didn't I Think Of That Department

I don't think it's something for people who are lazy, but something for people who want to change an effect on-the-fly in the middle of a song. I could see using it to change delay time and chorus speed and similar.

I saw this in a magazine.

it looks dorky but I am sure it works.

I would say a remote controlled delay pedal should be in the works.

MXR pedals used to come with these rubber caps that fit over the knobs (I think Dunlop still provides them). They worked well enough even though you'd always end up losing them.

The only effect that I change during a song is my vibe pedal and I use an expression pedal for that to change the speed; kinda like going from a slow Leslie speed to a fast Leslie speed only it doesn't really sound like a Leslie. Booker T. changes the speed of his Leslie a LOT during songs, switching from slow for sustained chords and to fast for solos and faster parts.

they do, and they work really well.

That knob is a dumb invention, just buy all MXR pedals, it worked for Eddie and Randy
