ANYONE GOT PIX OF AN EB2/RIVOLI

Hi everyone,,,,,,I'm looking for some fotos of the body underneath the bridge.my Rivoli has a cavity which has been partially filled with some sort of filler.I'm wondering if this cavity should lead to the pots to allow an earth/ground wire to connect with the bridge.

Also there is a Korean Rivoli on Ebay UK and I'm tempted. But I don't know if these are any good. From the fotos, the socket has been re-positioned and new wood let in.So is this a common weak spot or is it more likely to have had a thump?

All opinions gratefully received.

Thanks again,,,John.

John, the cavity under the bridge is where the choke was located. EB-2s & Rivolis had a 'baritone' switch which cut a bunch of low frequencies from the output when the choke was included in the circuit. it appears when your bass was modified, the switch and choke were removed.

Thanks Ramone,I'm still waiting on the "new" pickups coming from the USA,so I haven't pulled out the electrics.I spent some time cleaning up the frets and oiling the fretboard. The frets are all good and it looks a treat.Even got rid of the slight fret buzz it had.I also boiled the strings for 10 mins and they came up like new and also sound new.But I'm thinking I'll try some nylon flatwounds on it as they sounded great on my old Eko.

I will be short of one hole when I come to put the new electrics in,so I'm swithering between one beside the other pots or one on the side with a jack socket plate.
