Axewraps

It is true, most guitarist will not want to cover their stock finish as they have probably paid a good amount for it. Most of our customers are purchasing axewraps for their lower end Gibsons or Epiphone guitars. Being on the purist side of things myself, I understand most of the comments already posted. We do have videos on the site that show skins being applied to GH controllers and Gibson/ Epiphone guitars. And they do not leave any adhesive or residue on the surface of the guitar when removed. Some of our customers are very good guitarists and have very expensive Gibsons. They have ordered an axewrap for a particular show at a particular venue and have removed the axewrap after the show because they, like many, prefer the stock finish. Thanks for all of your feedback. http://www.axewraps.com

Disclaimer: these thoughts are polluted by having too much blood in my caffeine stream, but here goes:

1) Truly, I think this fits with the "pickguard or not" thread. I think it might define a REMOVABLE pickguard, no?

2) If it were made in clear and a smaller area to cover only the "strum & pick" zone of usually largest wear,

why not use a static-cling guard to protect your $$$ performing instrument?

If it weren't for the fact that the merchant did not post a disclaimer about involvement, and if he had not indicated this as being GH-controller-friendly, would we be trashing it so harshly?

No, I haven't bought one. But I am thinking one for a teen player in the house might be a possibility....

Actually, I would not be replying if this was merely a spam. I do appreciate all the feedback I am getting. Even yours. Also, the fact is, lower price range Gibson and Epiphone guitars exist and although many of our sales are for the higher-price ranged Gibsons, the majority are for the lower priced range guitars. What is the line differentiating the lower price from the higher price? I guess that is in perception. My opinion is that lower priced range guitars are under the $500 mark. As far as insulting anybody goes, if you have bought a guitar under the $500 price range, you know that there are more expensive guitars out there and I would find it hard to believe anyone is offended. Really the only offensive comments so far in this entire thread is you calling me an "azzhole." And it also might be offensive to the thousands of our axewrap customers who love our product to call it only good for a plastic guitar, but that is your opinion and you are definitely entitled to it. Thanks for your feedback!
