macman
Hey Guys, I am looking to buy a headless guitar (Steinberger Synapse Trans Scale) for travel purposes and for the baritone sound. However, I have a lot of concerns with the availability of strings. I usually play in drop C tuning (CGCFAD) and I think I will tune the transcale to drop A# (A#FA#D#GC) and the only strings I see that are suitable is the Steinberger Baritone strings (.068 for the lowest string). I am wondering if the strings can take the tuning and whether they would be too thick as I have never had strings that thick before. Thanks!!
