I bought mine in early 2010, as I recall, and after some tweaks big (which I've written about here extensively) and small, it has really become a favorite of mine. Fun to play, sounds a lot better than its price would lead one to believe -- and the Sonic Nanoflex gives it a great plugged-in sound and has been trouble-free. RaysEpiphone Posted July 29, 2012 Share Posted July 29, 2012 I still have my 2010 FT-79 and I think it sounds even better that when I 1st got it. It does have over 300 hours on it now so it's defiantly broke in. By far the best acoustic I've ever owned new or used.
