Sinner 13
So, as I had previously posted in Sellen's thread, I outfitted my SG with a set of the EB Cobalts. here is my take: Out of the package the were much more, for lack a of a less pretentious word, "Supple" than nickle or stainless strings. They are a nice tight wind, and have minimal "finger scratch" even when played clean. the first day they were kind of bright for me, but up until today I had only been able to play through my VOX ACTV4. I Finally found the time to fire up the Marshall, and what a difference Now they have settled in! Honestly if you had told me a week ago that switching strings would be the final tweak to get my rig dialed in I would have laughed at you. So, in short, these are a great product, and I think these are my new default Strings. Thanks to Searcy for the OP on these, the many good reviews, and demos from the rest of you. LPguitarman
Same here. I switched a couple months ago. Thought they were a little brite at first, but after a few days, they sounded great and they still do. My new strings.
