Izzwardo
My name is Isaiah and I am new to the forum but not new to playing guitar. I wanted to share a picture of my new baby a 2004 Gibson Les Paul Standard Limited Edition #12 of 275 in Dark Cherrie Burst. This beautiful guitar was a recent gift to me from my family and I am enjoying every minute of it. I play through a Mesa Boogie Rocket 44 Tube combo amp and I am in the works of buying a Marshall JVM combo amp in the near future. I just wanted to share a picture to you all. Apparently I can only upload one picture so here it is. If you want some more pictures I can try posting some more.

Izzwardo
Would you guys recommend changing out the compacitors on this guitar or leaving them. I hate to change anything but I know how much better compacitors make a differance. Thanks! More pictures:
BobB
Nice looking guitar. On a limited edition instrument, you might want to keep everything original (including the capacitors) if you want to maintain the collectable value.
Izzwardo
Thanks BOB i wont do anything to it other than install strap locks and put the originals in the case. Nice looking guitar. Riffster
Very nice guitar, I like the color. I have replaced the capacitors in most of my guitars using Russian Paper In Oil caps and the difference has been very pleasant except on my Les Paul that has BurstBucker Pros like those on you guitar. It seems (to me) that the Alnico V magnet does not benefit much from a capacitor change.

I have always bought guitars to my specs so have never modded one like this before but all of the changes are simple and can be changed back without any fuss. But for some reason this guitar just screamed at me to add those changes lol and im glad I did :) And the Goldtop is a 60s Tribute Studio.. They are AMAZING guitars for what you pay... Love them all..
