Bluemoon
Everyone has a song that they love that they know is awful, cheesy or both.. And for the most part they are embarrassed to admit that they love it. Well, here is your chance to come clean... My song is "Horse with no name" by America. I love this tune, even though the lyrics are atrocious. The best lyric is "the heat was hot"...really? My second song is Gordon Lightfoot--"If you could read your mind." Homz
I like a lot of crappy songs. I suppose a couple of note worthy ones are: "I'll Stop The World And Melt With You" by Modern English and "Jenny 8675309" by Tommy Tutone.
Murph
"Come Together" Beatles. Dumbest crap I ever had to memorize. I'm a big Lennon fan too, when he writes "Watchin' The Wheels", "In My Life" and stuff. Murph.

deepblue
There are 2 songs that can bring me to tears. " He was me he was you" by the Bells....It reminds me of my Mom who passed away last year. "Seasons in the sun" by Terry Jacks....It was popular in the early 70's when we had to put our dog to sleep. I was young, but I remember how sad I felt.
surfpup
Hi, I'm surfpup and I have a weakness for cheesy 80's new wavy stuff... The Safety Dance, 99 Luftballons, you know the lot. Whew, feels better getting that off my chest!
saturn
Since you brought up Gordon Lightfoot, I have to say The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald. On a more "up" note, how about Nothin But a Good Time by Poison.

ksdaddy
I absolutely love crap songs and when noodling and humming I am drawn to crap.... pure crap. Lessee.... Teen Angel by Mark Dinning Tonight you belong to me by whoever in the 30s I got you by Split Enz Jingle Bell Rock (only if played outside Xmas song time parameters, e.g. August) I'm hoping to do some unplugged Devo soon. RichCI
Mysharona That was what I was going to say. That whole album rocks though; The Knack had their songs down cold and played them with a LOT of energy on "Get The Knack. You don't hear that kind of energy much any more in the age of ProTools. SRV-Zeppelin
My "best worst song" would definitely have to be either "Can you Feel the Love Tonight" or "Hakuna Matata." It's a good movie, alright?!!!!
Cruznolfart
One of my favorite, gawd-awfullest songs is "Ramblin' Hunchback" by Patrick Sky from his "Songs that made America Famous" LP. Dr. Hook, etc.'s "Cover of the Rolling Stone" is another, especially the guitar solo.
Rocker_Gamma
I've dubbed Motorhead's "Runaround Man" the song about nothing, because mainly it sounds like random lyrics thrown here and there. Of course...that's what half of their new album is like. Doesn't mean they don't have some good songs on it though! Oh, and Graveyard BBQ by Graveyard BBQ is the absolute most retarded song PERIOD. But I'm drawn to it for some reason. XD
rocketman
Sister Christian by Night Ranger. Brad Gillis is great though...

retrosurfer1959
Suzzane Hoffs (the Bangles) Walk like a Egyptian. I think it's mostly her looks though as Garth used to say she makes me feel funny... I'd also have to throw Oingo Boingo in there with Love is a drug really goofy but I usually turn it up. djroge1
Let it out. You are among friends. Alright, but I warned ya! I love 70's music overall but there are 2 for this list and No. 1 is the cheesyist 1. C'mon get happy - the Partridge family 2. A boy named Sue - Johnny Cash

I'd also have to throw Oingo Boingo in there with Love is a drug really goofy but I usually turn it up. Yeah and Danny Elfman is a great musician too. "He has been nominated for three Academy Awards and won a Grammy Award for Tim Burton's Batman and an Emmy Award for his Desperate Housewives theme." His insane musically style certainly started with Oingo Boingo. Truly one of the greats of the today...
surfpup
Oh man, I loved Oingo Boingo - but I don't know if I'd call it a guilty pleasure or put it in the best worst song category! This album was great... And it had some pretty cool guitar work from this guy and his Les Paul Deluxe... Steve Bartek
