Boss Metal Zone Not Just For Metal... Video

Using what most would consider staples of crushing metal... I recorded a rather dreamy jam using my Keeley Mod MT-2 and the strat I just rewired with a Dimarzio Super Distortion. I also added a few toggles... a coil split for the SD and a "neck-on" switch for adding the neck pup to the bridge and to run all three pups at the same time. This was recorded using the full humbucker however. It does sound fantastic split though... makes me wish I'd opted for one in the bridge of my Epi Les Paul! Anyhow, enjoy and pardon the strat [-X[rolleyes]

I'm not sure how to get the actual ulr but I used a Boss Metal Zone for years when I was in a band. Used it with a 70's Fender Twin and later a 70's Hiwatt(clean channel) and was all I used for distorsion. Found it reacted nicely with a guitars volume control and was very versatile.

Nice playing - and a very cool sound. I wold have never guessed the pedal / p-up combination.

I wonder how much bettter your set up sounds than a stock Metal Zone.

(I have a Keely modded RAT - and I don't leave home without it!)
