"Your guitar is making an awful sound" is something my 90 year old dad told me almost 50 years ago.. lol

is your guitar too close to the amp ? Casino's are full hollow body guitars and feed back a little more than solid body (Les Paul) and "Stratocaster/Telecaster: type guitars. Also, don't tighten the strings on your guitar so tight that they break. Get a guitar tuner.

Ya, really need some photos, and string size would help too. One other thing, and i know this may sound crazy, but did the bridge come off when you changed strings and somehow you put it on backwards? This would def cause a bad sound and string breakage. I know it's a reach, but anything is possible.

Awful noise is pretty generic. You can get a lot of unwanted noises from a guitar. Some electronic, some mechanical.

Only unwanted noise I got from my Casino was from the retaining wire on the front of the bridge. It kind of jangled.

Easy fix, just use the tip of a screwdriver to press down between the saddles and put more pressure on it.

Some have had good luck applying clear nail polish to the wire.

Nesster ...

We all would really love to help you on this one, but I'm afraid that you're gonna have to "bite the bullet" on this one: Go and find yourself a reputable guitar tech in your town and get the guitar looked at! Usually, calling some local music stores will get you a few good contacts.

Just the fact that you have someone else tune your guitar for you tells me that you are pretty new to this. Watching a good tech in action will be an education for you ... and it'll get your instrument back in playing shape.

Good luck ... and let us know how everything turns out!
