Rabs
Cool :) http://www2.gibson.com/News-Lifestyle/News/en-us/tony-iommi-ian-gillan-who-cares-cd-set-0808-2012.aspx Eagle Rock Entertainment has announced August 28 as the release date for WhoCares, a 2-CD retrospective culled from the careers of Tony Iommi and Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan. Included in the set will be rarities and never-before-released material, along with two charity singles Iommi and Gillan recorded in 2011. To help record those singles – “Out of My Mind” and “Holy Water” – the two musicians recruited Metallica’s Jason Newstead, late Deep Purple keyboardist Jon Lord, Iron Maiden’s Nicko McBrain and HIM’s Linde Lindstrom, forming WhoCares, the supergroup that gives the set its title. Other notable tracks include an unreleased studio jam by Deep Purple, a song from Gillan’s sideband, Repo Depo, which never released an official song prior to this set, and “Zero the Hero,” from Born Again, the only Black Sabbath album to feature Gillan on lead vocals. Two unreleased songs by Iommi, featuring Glenn Hughes, are included as well. Does this mean they want everyone to sit back and smoke a big one :) :P Bob Marley day declared in Los Angeles http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-19177350 The Los Angeles City Council has declared a special day in honour of the Jamaican reggae star, Bob Marley.
