CoreyT
Fist time I heard them was on TV via Don Kirshners Rock Concert that came up around 11 PM back in the early 70s.
zigzag
They were never better than when Papa John Creach was with them, however I've seen them twice in the last 10 years, and they were great both times. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEtT9yZBLFs
Riffster
Great album, I bought it when it came out. Double vinyl on 180gram, CD and a temporary tattoo. The record sounds great.
57classic
I saw them this past year and they were great. Jack was fantastic. At around 70 years old he still jumps around on stage and his playing is as good as ever.
jaxson50
The first time I saw them was on the Jefferson Airplane's original fareweel tour in 1970. The MC for the night was a local DJ Michael J Cavanaugh, he was a friend of mine and snuck me into the party after the show. What a night that was! Jamming and debauchery that lived up to the image of a 60's S.F. rock band I assure you!! Momma Told Me Don't Go, could have been the theme song... Jack is pretty darn cool. Always looks like he's enjoying himself. I only play bass now and then but would love to have a JC sugnature Epiphone.
