Motherofpearl
Hey folks! Who can tell me about these? Love the look a friend has one on the way. I'm interested in one myself Thanks Jamie
rar
Do you by any chance mean SJ-200 (aka J-200, Super Jumbo, etc.)? Seems like a Super 200 would be a stripped- down Super 300, which is a stripped-down Super 400, if such a thing existed. If it is the SJ-200 you're interested in, a lot of folks here could tell you a lot. What did you want to know? -- Bob R

Motherofpearl
Has all the inlays of a super 400 but in an sj200 body with the cutaway?
L5Larry
A round-hole flat-top is in NO WAY an acoustic version of a Super 400! I don't care what Gibson Marketing wants you to believe.
Motherofpearl
Not a version. It's an sj200 with the inlays of a super 400? Anyone got or play one?
rar
This not an sj200 Despite the "this is not an SJ-200", it is an SJ-200. It's just a custom or limited edition SJ-200 with a cutaway and Super 400-inspired trim. I can see how the name "Super 200" was irresistible. Whatever dealer came up with the idea and ordered them would be your best source for more info, but I think "SJ-200 with a cutaway and Super 400-inspired trim" pretty much sums it up.:) -- Bob R
