Tip71
Hi, I have bought a Les Paul with a model number of LPJTTRGH1. What I would like to know, is there anyone out there that can decode this model or is there a Gibson model number decoder on the net? Cheers. Tip71
No model# decoder that I know of perhaps this serial # decoder will help... Serial decoder I have checked out the serial number de-coder and have found that it was built in 2001. From what I can make out of the serial is LP = Les Paul J = Junior GH = Gold Hardware. BigKahune
. You're on the right track. What you've got so far looks right to me. One or two of those letters will be the finish code - I'm guessing some kind of red. The 1 is a holder meaning not B or 2nd stock. The T's can be confusing because they've used to signify different things over time. You can email Gibson (service@gibson.com) with the serial and model# and have them translate it for you. .
