Murph
We can help talk him into it, I'm sure. I've told him mine is my favorite guitar, has been all over the Country, I talk to it, even take it hunting with me sometimes..... ;)

Is that one of those 60's reissues? If so I've played a black one ...... not outstanding tone but a way cool instrument .... love to have one. Tell him to go for it! jannusguy2
I always thought the red was more appealing than the black. Just don't like the logo on the p-guard.

6stringTom
You mean they're not supposed to talk back? Hmm, Guess I'd better have a chat with mine about improper behavior.
Newtoit
IF IT'S A J-45 IT'S NO PROBLEM EITHER WAY. AND THAT'S A GOOD LOOKING GUITAR. But a good burst on a 45 just puts it over the top for me. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU BRING IT OUT AGAINST YOUR NATURAL TOP BUDDIES, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. And you KNOW IT'S GOING TO SOUND AMAZING.
Californiaman
All I want is a red guitar, three chords and the truth. Unfortunately I've fallen into a bit of a financial mess and untill I dig myself out, there will be no Cherry Red Gibson J-45. Unless of course I can find one for under $2,000.00. Californiaman
Here's wishing you the best till you work through it. Thanks Murph. That guitar will be there when I'm good and ready. I've found that if you're pacient and you wait and save, you can usually get what you want. There's a nice rosewood J45 in a pawn shop I know of and they only want $1,500.00 for it. That's a great price for a used J45 that's only six years old. Still cherry red is nice and probably worth waiting for.
