England Davey
Hello I'm new here, but not new to Gibson. Best guitars in the world, in my humble opinion. My biggest regret? Selling a 1966 J-200 to get the tax man off my back. A beautiful dark sunburst, it had the name 'S Thompson' pencilled inside, just above the label. Must have been the original owner. Just a shot in the dark here, but does anybody out there have this guitar? Love and peace
BigKahune
. Welcome. Ah yes . . . . seller's remorse. I've had it myself a couple times. Good luck with that shot in the dark. .
merseybeat1963
Davey...Try a few mid 50's ones in the mean time..you may like em better. Even a 90's Bozeman made one you may like better but the one youi had may have been a special one. If you periodically look on Gbase under J200 and SJ200 for a 66'...this is one place I would regularly look for my old guitar. Good Luck

Certainly the place to look, perchance to dream... I'm in the UK and those import duties and VAT, on top of shipping, really put the prices up. But, hey! One day...
