Izzy
Wanted to watch a tutorial on mixing and stumbled on this. It was informative, but above all, I found myself laughing and sometimes looking away going, "wow, that's trippy!" Just the first 5 minutes are CLASSIC. Enjoy! RaysEpiphone
Cheesy, weird, a bit odd, but likely some good info in it... I'll watch the rest of it later and let you know.
daveinspain
We are not here to show you... We are not here to tell you... We are not here to, whatever... Every 60 seconds he tells you he is not here to show you what you want him to show you... It's like a brain washing. I think he has a fake mustache. surfpup
Before clicking on this post, I was sure that Tripping Pink Balls was a band or the title of a song.
RaysEpiphone
Well, I watched as much as I could before I got sleepy and had to turn in off. There is some good information there its just got way to much cheese to be able to hold your attention for very long. Basically, recording and all the other processes that go along with it are all about getting the right mic, in the right spot, in the right room. You cant fix something that was incorrect in the first place so mixing is just making something sweet sound a touch sweeter.
ShredAstaire
Is that Neo in the 80s? Sweet mullet.
duane v
I always felt mixing was the easy part, (as long as the singer is kept out of the booth). Getting all the instruments to sound the way they should before laying down tracks is the painful part of recording IMO Mastering your final mixes have become much less of a dubious undertaking with the new mastering tools available
