Casino4Life
I have been having some issues as of late with the signal from my Casino to my amp going out during songs. The other day for a out side gig, I would be in the middle of a song and I would lose my signal, then hit the strings hard and it would come back. Checked the cables and what not and they seem fine. On the advice from some other memebers, I took the selector switch out and looked it over it seems fine, even gave if a blast with dust off to clean it out. Haven't checked the amp yet, that's a possibility. Anyboyd else have the same issues? Brandon
Dennis G
Maybe check the output jack as well?
Gordy01
Look into the simplest things first. Could be just a bad cord. Or the jack might not be making a good connection with the cord. Dennis is correct. The 2nd place I would look is the output jack. Could be a loose wire. Or If that isn't the case, then it might be a loose wire back at the volume pot. Have any of the pots turned in the hole? If they have then there could be a bad connection. After checking the guitar, then on to the amp. Might be at the input jack. flyingarmadillo
I had problems with both the output jack and the switch in my 2005 MIK Casino after I'd had it for about a year. I cleaned the switch and jack once (contact cleaner and "plumber tape") and it stayed good for about a year. When they started giving me trouble the second time, I replaced them with both Switchcraft parts and haven't had a problem since.
