J.R.M.30!
I was thinking to myself the other day about the guitar's tone and came to the realization that I think that notes/chords played closer to the headstock sound richer/fuller and resonant differently from when they're played higher up on the fretboard. My theory goes like this: The higher up you go, the more percussive the note gets, the lower you get the more rich tone you will have. Tune one guitar standard and tune another a full step down D G C F A D and you can both play rich chord sequence of I, IV and V I think.
