Mark2 Posted September 5, 2012 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Just curious if anyone has been able to do a side-by-side comparison between the Midtown Custom and an ES-335 using the same amp and settings. I liked the Midtown better even though I was not prepared to spend as much as the 339 was. I was actually looking for a cheap Epi Dot but the Midtown won me over. I've never played a 335, but have always wanted one just on principle. I'm now so in love with my Midtown Custom, though, that I find it almost difficult to believe that I would prefer a 335.
