Am I Too Late?

Greetings all!

 

Yesterday I ordered a Gibson Custom 1959 ES-335 VOS from GC and the salesman stated that they had one in stock. However when I got home I received a "backorder" notification from GC. The notification did say that they have more on order and will ship once they come in.

 

Does anyone know if Gibson is still producing this specific 335? Something tells me they are not and it's only a matter of time before GC gives me the bad news.

For information about Gibsons, and other guitars, you could post at mylespaul.com in the "other gibsons" subforum ... it's way more active, and most people there, while generally enthusiastic about Gibson guitars, are not defensive fan boys of the brand like some of the folks who post here

Admittedly...it's a little slow here. But referring somebody to the MLP forum for helpful advice? Well, okay...they may have an answer, but it can be a real snakepit over there.
