old mark
I'm afraid to even think about that...
heymisterk
I have a strange one: I am scared of being in a store when it closes. When I was a child, I used to absolutely go bananas and throw a tantrum when the intercom would announce that the store was closing and some of the lights turned off. I don't freak out anymore, but I still avoid it. When I was in therapy for depression and anxiety many years later, this topic came up more out of curiosity than anything else. The doc said it was most likely either fear of abandonment or - more likely - an unrealistic feeling of being unwelcome and/or unwanted.
