livinthedream
Hey there folks! First post in the forum. I just bought an ebony colored SG Special from my neighbor. Its got a rosewood fretboard, and a P-90 in the neck. I am blown away by the power and playability of this beast. It is just leaps and bounds better than any guitar I've had before. I've officially drunk the cool-aid, and life has changed as a result!!!

I betting another Gibson will find it's way into your stable. . B) .
Twiz
Happy NGD! What do the pickups sound like if you have the switch in the middle so they're both on?
EVOL!
Congrats! I agree with BigK on the pickups. My platinum special has a 57+ in the bridge and a P-94 in the neck. Twiz - together they sound like nothing else. Full and fat with humbucker highs on top.
old mark
I have a '99 Special, with both factory HB's. I love it...but be aware they grow on you...It gets better the more you play it. You may end up with more than one of them...just so you know... mark
Jon S.
Congrats!! A P-90 in the neck with a bucker in the bridge is one of my favorite setups!!
livinthedream
Happy NGD! What do the pickups sound like if you have the switch in the middle so they're both on? Together, the pickups put out a really smooth tone. The highs from the humbucker and the mellow from the P-90. I'm in love, every time I plug it in!
