AEFO
So, can anybody tell me what model guitar this is? I got it for christmas a decade ago and there is no model number on the guitar. It is an Epiphone Les Paul model with two OBL bar double humbuckers.

AEFO
what are double humbuckers? If it were planes I would know the terminology. What are the two pairs of pickups called? R9, all I was saying is that nobody could possibly know everything. Before spouting off try thinking about it from someone else's perspective. From what I understand, doesn't Gibson own Epiphone? Ian Martin
Are we done emphasizing this is not the place to ask about an Epiphone? Here, bud...sorry we can't be more help here... http://forums.epiphone.com/
Tim Plains
He's right: http://www.epiphone.com/ Click on "Community" then "Forums." Yikes!! My bad, AEFO...and apologies. Gibson does owe Epi, but the two brands are very different. If you post your question here http://forums.epiphone.com/ you'll have better odds of getting the answers you're looking for. I can tell you practically everything about new Gibson LPs...but know absolutely nothing about Epiphone.

RichCI
You know what I think that guitar is? A Joe Perry model; an earlier one from the 90's before they made the Boneyard version. Here's it's Gibson cousin:
Tim Plains
I just googled the Epi Joe Perry and don't think that's it...the headstock logo is different. http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/shop_image/product/d45c7eb156e7a164c8918d1f1157e2a2.jpg
RichCI
That's the newer one called a "Boneyard." The one he has fits the time frame for the older Perry model.
