The pickups he refers to are a step above the stock ones, a friend installed two on his Epi and they sounded pretty good for the price ($42 ea). I'm not wild about the hardware finish mixture, but all that it'd take to have all chrome would be a bridge and tuners. Or to change it all back with the extra stock parts that he'll include.
