eliott.gr Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Hi, Here is the link to a beautifull Les Paul from the seventies. Take a look, its a very unic guitar ! http://rare-guitar.over-blog.com/ Eliott
Cam in alberta Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Norlin recording model, not rare, doesn't have PAF's. But it is in beautiful, unused condition.
retrorod Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Very pretty guitar in clean original condition
Grog Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 It looks to me like a stereo guitar, it might have been a one-of-a-kind built by an employee. It has the control plate blank of a Les Paul Recording, but no other similar features.

Hi, PAF's seem to be originals : serial number, sticker, and "L" pressed on the feets. "Norlin" doesn't mean "bad quality". It depends on which model we are speaking about. Custom Gibson were very nice guitars. But it's true that during this period, some models were a little cheap (especilaly entry level Les Paul, which is not the case for this very rare model). Eliott
Cam in alberta Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 The pick ups are not PAF's. They may be humbuckers but are not PAF's. PAF stands for Patent Applied For, that stamp is not on the pick ups therefor those are a latter generation humbucker.
eliott.gr Posted September 29, 2012 Author Posted September 29, 2012 Sure, it's not a 50's ou 60's pickup but, it was made between 1965 and 1975. It was the T top periode.
