Nice! I loved the way he talked about refretting SRV's guitar.

What struck me about SRV was the condition of his fret fingers. Rene says they were all cut up and frequently bleeding and SRV had to use super glue and take calluses from another hand and glue them to his finger tips. I can't understand how someone could play guitar so well with such messed up fingers.

 

The interview does note that SRV eventually went to lighter guage strings.
