It's cool and all, but....

 

Whatever happened to a thing called "FINGERS, GUITAR, AMP, RECORD, STEREO"!

 

Ear-training is the way to go for a kid just starting out. If you're a middle-aged or older person and you don't plan on going anywhere, tabs and this "Rocksmith" are fine.

Well its just good to see them use a real instrument in a music game..

 

And if it helps a kid get into playing im all for it :)

 

I have tried playing Guitar Hero a few times around friends and it just did my head in.. I kept going to make chords instead of pressing the buttons lol

Yes it is!

 

Well, it's bringing great music to the youngsters. Instead of this watered-down, depressing crap on the radio nowadays, they can get the classics, which will lead them to more underground stuff.

 

Me too....

 

It's pretty funny knowing that someone as great as Steve Vai probably sucks at Guitar Hero....
