SGgypsyboy
They are Gibson Custom Shop special orders, either for a private buyer or for a certain retailer. Not production models.
EVOL!
Yuck. I know fancy tops (quilted, bursts, etc) are popular, but give me solid color or plain any day.
JM2112
Yuck. I know fancy tops (quilted, bursts, etc) are popular, but give me solid color or plain any day. Agreed! They are certainly not my personal preference, but if some folks like them then I'm happy for them.

sellen
Sure looks nice, maybe to nice. For ME the sg is about simplicity and the bad boys rock"n"roll saw this one on the net a while ago, not that i want it. But it caught my attention
BigKahune
. I'm partial to the SG Supreme. Someone here has one in the fireburst finish.

PP_CS336
Yuck. I know fancy tops (quilted, bursts, etc) are popular, but give me solid color or plain any day. I agree with you, Evol. I'd take my Plain top CS-336 over the flamed top any day. They have their own grain and character. Flamed or quilted tops all look alike; no unique character.
