Yeah kid she's a beauty.

 

It's one of those axes that I've "ALWAYS wanted" but the price tag is intimidating,

 

it must sound incredible.

 

Some Gretch guitars are killer, others, seem like a strong breeze could rattle them to pieces.

 

I would assume the Falcon is one of the more solidly constructed ones.

 

The Drummer I work with has a brother in Texas, with a 57 (I think it's a Tennessean)

Original case w/hang tags, he never plays it, and has no idea what it's worth.

Yeah I never thought I'd ever get the chance to own one myself. I noticed this one on my local craigslist. The owner posted it for couple of weeks with no bites. I had a LP studio dlx and a strat that weren't getting much attention so I took a shot and offered him a trade. Falcon was mint with all the paperwork so did the deal.
