Ian Martin Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 No. I'm from Nebraska. ...we have guns here.

GuitarJunkie Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Usually case candy (and I ain't talkin' a Snickers bar).
DamienAzrael Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 I put a gun in the compartment of a guitar case once...Played down in Miami once and wasn't too crazy about driving there if ya know what I mean...haha
Thundergod Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Option 2 in all my guitar cases, even if I am not using that particular guitar for a long time I like to have a set of strings, a string winder, a small tuner, strap, some picks and the little hexaonal keys that come with each guitar (non gibson of course).
ninety1vee Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 polish, cloths (one for body, one for fretboard), 9 volts, peg winder, strings, tuner, wire cutters, assorted screwdrivers, strap, picks, and anything i'm trying to smuggle:-$
Homz Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Pick guard, original knobs, original truss rod cover, copy of my warranty, copy of my receipt, bottle of polish and rag
KennyF Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 M1911A1 .45 Semi-automatic pistol with a cache of extended clips filled with hollowpoints. That's what I'm talkin' about.
Thundergod Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Pick guard' date=' original knobs, original truss rod cover, copy of my warranty, copy of my receipt, bottle of polish and rag [/quote'] "original TRC"? Did you change it for some different one? (if so... pics would be nice)
Homz Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 "original TRC"? Did you change it for some different one? (if so... pics would be nice) Moter of pearl with my name. toggle switch cover is chromed with the words Mischief and Mayhem chrome knobs with acrylic tops
daveinspain Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Just the regular guitar stuff that came with the guitar plus the whole purchase history.... Don't know why I'm saving all this crap, hang tags, shipping documents, purchase documents...etc. By time it makes a difference in the value of the guitar I'll be dead...
KennyF Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 "original TRC"? Did you change it for some different one? (if so... pics would be nice) I had mine engraved also. My R4 Goldtop is named "Elaine"' date=' after my wife. Finding her was like finding gold. My R8 is named after my son. It represents his battle with cancer and the brothers at The Axe House who made it possible for me to keep that guitar during that stressful time.
AXE® Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Marlboro Red's, Zippo Lighter and a box cutter.
brundaddy Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 M1911A1 .45 Semi-automatic pistol with a cache of extended clips filled with hollowpoints. ...Must be in the explorer case I guess. I don't have an explorer. I sure can't fit a large-frame handgun in any of my case compartments. But then, if I did I'd never get to it in time! Besides, if I see somebody walking off with my guitar in its case, I'd rather be able to reach for the pistol than lose the guitar AND the .45 at the same time. Not too slick... I always kept condoms, but not anymore now that I'm retired (married). I preferred to dwell on pulling girls instead of shootings, dealing with cops, etc.

Not too slick..[/quote'] You are correct. Additionally, I keep a derringer in my in my LP case and a hand grenade in my SG case. Each case is loaded with 1.5lbs of C4 molded around a wireless remote detonator. If the guitar gets stolen, well, I won't be getting the guitar back in one piece but I will sure make an example out of the sorry sack of **** who steals it.
Old Deadhead Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 2 paks of Trojans and a bottle of Makers Mark. Maybe Willie's weed.
brundaddy Posted November 30, 2008 Author Posted November 30, 2008 Ian, if you actually lug around 1.5 pounds of C4 in the guitar case (where does it go, what with your hogleg handgun and cache of extended clips in the compartment?)-- and your plan guarantees the destruction of your guitar -- why not rig the case to electrocute so your guitar wouldn't be destroyed? I bet you could rig a circuit that weighs less than 1.5+ lbs... Uh, I doubt you have a "get out of jail card" with ATF. Just sayin, I hate to see a perfectly good Gibson blown up AND an otherwise perfectly good Gibson picker locked up. Along with detonating a "cache of extended clips loaded with hollowpoints" firing in random directions. And why keep that hogleg where you'll never get to it, why not wear it under your belt? Hey maybe you're a FTW, blow up my guitars/guns/ammo/friends kinda guy just so you can get that thief. If you want to be a sadistic bad boy, you could get your kicks on the thief a lot more if he's unconscious from the electrocution. Whatever tickles you pickle, ese.
SRV-Zeppelin Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 I carry garlic, holy water, silver stakes, and crosses in my guitar cases... ... you never know when you're going to get called up to do a show in Transylvania...
