Javier.I Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 hi what is the difference between the Les Paul Studio '50s tribute, 60 and 70? which one is better?
GibSinCity Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Welcome. Check out the specs for each, then maybe search YouTube to hear what the differences in pickups sound like. There is no real "better one". Whatever one feels and sounds right to you is the best one. Good luck. The differences are basically pickups and neck shape: 50's- Neck described as thick, round like a baseball bat. Pickups- P90's 60's- Neck described as thin, flat. Pickups- P90's 70's- Neck described as thin to thick. Pickups- Dual Blade Alnico Mini Humbuckers (Alnico II Deluxe) Les Paul Studio 50s Tribute: http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Les-Paul/Gibson-USA/Les-Paul-Studio-50s-Tribute/Specs.aspx Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute: http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Les-Paul/Gibson-USA/Les-Paul-Studio-60s-Tribute/Specs.aspx Les Paul Studio '70s Tribute http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Les-Paul/Gibson-USA/Les-Paul-Studio-70s-Tribute/Specs.aspx
Blackflag Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 I like the 60's neck the best, but to each his own.
