pippy
remove the humbucker bridge and says LP 6 t or LP 6 + which means LP 6 + or LP 6 t ? Glad you got the colour sorted out. LP = 'Les Paul' (as I'm sure you realised) and the '+' (if that is what it is) indicates it has a 'Plus' top. This is a general designation used by Gibson to describe a top with a good amount of figure (or 'Flame'). I don't know about the 6, though. Any chance of a picture? It might help. P. (Or a very slight possibly of it meaning a Les Paul Standard Plus, although IMX a 'Plus' top is usually identified by a 'P'). P.
Gary Moore Tribute
I work in the newspaper trade and you see alot of "BAD" hand writing so alot of the time words look like one thing but actually mean something else, this can be because of human error but alot of the time its the writer is so cryptic in how they use words its just Frickin confusing... BigKahune
. Though we're not discusing a model#, FWIW "6" usually means a 60s neck in a model# like - LPS6GTNH1 = Les Paul Standard, 60's Neck, Gold Top, Nickel Hardware .
