which means LP 6 + or LP 6 t ?

Glad you got the colour sorted out.

 

LP = 'Les Paul' (as I'm sure you realised) and the '+' (if that is what it is) indicates it has a 'Plus' top.

This is a general designation used by Gibson to describe a top with a good amount of figure (or 'Flame').

 

I don't know about the 6, though.

 

Any chance of a picture? It might help.

Its probably "ST" My guess is the S somehow became a 6 so where looking at an Ice Tea LP Standard

(Or a very slight possibly of it meaning a Les Paul Standard Plus, although IMX a 'Plus' top is usually identified by a 'P').
