flatbaroque
http://www.guitar.com.au/guitars/acoustic/gibson/l-series/l-130.html one of these has appeared on Oz Ebay.I hadn't heard of it before. A discontinued model.Specs seem somewhat similar to a Bluesking L-00. I like the look of it, but the Bluesking doesn't seem to be that highly thought of....what about this model? j45nick
Never seen that one before. Body shape almost looks like a cross between an L-OO and an L-1. Doesn't really appeal to me, however.
J-1854Me
I really like the L-130 (bubinga) L-140 and L-150 and the L-200 guitars. They were made starting in the late 1990s, and I guess they must have discontinued them sometime in the mid-2000s (?). I've liked all these models, and they are capable of producing some good tone and decent volume -- more in my opinion than some of the L-00 models, etc. In my (limited) sampling, I've consistently liked the bubinga L-130, and the L-200 (maple). Some of the rosewood models I've tried were pretty good, and others were kind of so-so. They ARE a smaller guitar, which provides some comfort-ease "front porch" pickin' feel, so don't expect an AJ sort of sound. Fred

vacamartin
Will give an a/b when mine arrives. First bubinga I've owned. J.D. This lil' guy fits my style. Great sound(it's a 2002) in fairly good condition. Not boxy like the newer L-00 sizes. The top wood is opened up and the tone is good up and across the neck. Bonus is the undersaddle factory installed pick-up. Changed to Ej 17's and there is a subtle growl with the sweet upper and mid registers. This is a keeper. J.D.
