LPguitarman
Cardinals up 2-1 in the NLCS. Go Cards... hopefully on their way to 12 in 12.
Rocky4
We've already beat the Tigers in the Series. Wouldn't it be nice to sweep the Yankees?
EVOL!
I smell a 2006 rematch only this time you aren't playing a bunch of rookies that fold under pressure. You'll be facing guys like Verlander, Cabrera, Young, and Fielder.
Daryl M
I think its great that St. Louis is about to win the National League. Last year when Pujols left for California, Tony LaRussa retired, and then they gave the manager's job to a guy who have never managed a single game, who would have dreamed they'd be here this year. A testament to a well run organization. What a great match up it will be against the line-up Detrot has. Should be a classic!

Mark
Two things about St.Louis. Never count them out and never sign a player they cut or don't re sign. The Cubs for many years seem to chase and sign to big contracts players well past their prime. They also give up to quickly on prospects in hopes of trading them for the Lou Brock...oh wait Lou Brock was a Cub. The Cubs will never win a World Series as long as they play in that dump on the North side.
chewy60
yeah, i hate the gnats with a passion. so as long as frisco doesn't make the world series, i'm happy. 2010 was a horrible feeling i had never felt before....
EVOL!
The Cubs will never win a World Series as long as they play in that dump on the North side. As a Chicago resident I can attest to the fact that Wrigley Field isn't the problem. Hell, it is probably the only thing that isn't a problem with this rat droppings organization. Aster1
Was hoping the Cards & the O's would have been the match-up. Then I wouldn't know who to root for. Better get the Plasma theater set back up in the family room this weekend. Get things ready for some big action. YeeeeHawww. Aster

Aster1
What the H is going on with my team? Was hoping for a Yankees/Cards WS or the O's/Cards. Don't know if I'll care if it's the Tigers/Giants. Bet the Giants will like the snow in Tiger stadium if that's the way it goes. If the Cards are going to just roll over in the WS like they did with the Tiger (I think it was) then they don't need to go to the show IMHO. Hate those 4 game woosey performances from any team in the WS. GO CARDS GO!!!! Aster
Blueblooded
LOL!!! It doesn't matter who wins game 7. Whichever team it is, they have to play the TIGERS next!!! GO TIGERS!!!
LPguitarman
Hope the Cardinals bat's come alive tonight. Hoping for a 2012 rematch in the WS with the Tigers. Not sure if it will be the same outcome though.

Daryl M
I like the Cardinals and have followed them for a long time but I've never seen such a total meltdown of a team since...well, the Yankees last week. At least the Yankees looked like they were out of gas from the start. St. Louis came in playing well and were one win away when the wheels completely came off. Should be a good series, though. The Giants are HOT right now, but the Tigers are loaded. I say Detroit wins it in 6.
