Forty6and2
What do you guys think of the new Gibson Les Paul Classic Customs? Great deals on MF right now, can get one new for about 1.5k. What do you guys think about them? Why/how are the new standards so much more than these customs? Shouldnt a custom be more? :P

BUT EVERY single person on here whos had one has raved about how good they are and how consistant the quality was. And yeah the price seems odd.. but they are seen as a VERY good deal.. You get alot of guitar for your money

Forty6and2
Well, I just bought a new Classic Custom from guitarcenter online. I figure it's safe because I can just walk in and return it if I don't like it. I'm excited to play it!

Bongoscot
Wow Btoth that is a really pretty example of the natural finish. Most of the ones I see pictured look very yellow but yours looks, well, natural. Very nice!

The back/neck looks stunning too! These CC's are really the bests I've seen from Gibson recently (in my $hooting range - of course). Cheers... Markini
Yep, big +1 for the Classic Custom series. I don't know why the quality and workmanship is so good and consistent, but I suspect there is a dedicated manufacturing line and selected employees building them. Sorry but played a Lp standard and a trad recently, they were ok but had some fret and minor finish issues, something I have never found on the half dozen or so classic customs I have played. I own the wine colored one. Oh yeah: They sound and play as good as they look.
Forty6and2
I'm a little concerned about the brightness of it. I heard the maple fretboard makes it substantially more bright than the standard or traditionals... Any input?
