Gibson Artist
Im jonesing for a new les paul now that the price is lower ive narrowed it down to 2 that are in my immediate price range. First, a Gibson Les Paul Studio Satin Fireburst http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/gibson-les-paul-studio-satin-electric-guitar Or if i stretch my budget (by that i mean sell some junk on craigslist lol) then i can probably squeeze in a Les Paul Studio Deluxe http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/gibson-les-paul-studio-deluxe-electric-guitar Also considered the Faded models. My questions are is it the same pickups in the Faded as in the Satin? Also, what is the difference between the Studio Satin and Studio deluxe? The push pull knobs on the Deluxe is the only difference i know of other than one pickup right? Any info from you Gibson enthusiests greatly appreciated :)

Blueblooded
If it were me and I had $1200 to spend on a LP, I'd look for a nice used LP Standard and skip the studio models

AlanH
You might want to check whether the fireburst is the full gloss or the satin version.
Gibson Artist
You might want to check whether the fireburst is the full gloss or the satin version. The 669 dollar version is the satin version. Its chrome which i kind of like better since it wont fade and chip off like the gold would. The real question is the sound? Seems like quite a deal, a gibson les paul studio for 669 bucks and no tax!

I own the new Satin Studio Fireburst, and am considering selling it (I'm really digging the new studio limited.) :) PM me if interested. thanks, Don
