onewilyfool
Gibson must have found a great stash of Koa at one time based on some of the pics we've seen...I thought it would be great to gather them all in one place. Here is the back of my 2001 J-200 Koa.....Let's see some more!!!

I ordered mine from Sweetwater.com since there's no dealers close to me. Talk to Dennis Konicki.

I don't know about that but I did hear, from a believable source, that there are "native" koa trees in Hawaiia and koa plantations in California. Anyone know about that? onewilyfool
After seeing these pics.....I'm convinced at some time Gibson must have cornered the market on this type of flame koa.....only Taylor has stuff this nice......amazing stock they must have...........wow
foggy
That is just spectacular! Thanks Rob! It's been a blast to play, and a lot of that has to be because of the compliments of even non-guitar players. I've found that most cameras can't do the Koa any justice, so they best way to really appreciate it is to buy one for yourself...
