Looks kinda cool. But a bit pricey. Kind of a commanding price for a non-Gibson with non-original tuners. Glad I'm not a collecter - prices are getting pretty rich.

A very cool guitar. As the site observes, it's only the second Martelle ever to surface (the other was in Scott Chinery's collection).

 

That's a great shop and the proprietor Eric Schoenberg is not only very knowledgeable about guitars, he's a monster player. Oh, and he loaned me a lovely 1943 LG-2 for the Banner recording sessions.

Wow! That is just wonderful. I'm so pleased to have a descendant of this guitar in my JB prototype. I sold Eric a 1929 L5 last year. He had it fixed up and has kept it so he told me. I'd love to visit his shop one day... bucket list and all that. Thx for posting OWF!

I remember the first time I saw him play back in the 1970s at the Town Crier Cafe in Hopewell Junction NY. He absolutely floored us.
