JAC
That is great. I love How the West was Won! It has better and more interesting footage than The Song remains the same. I dig that fact that they added songs to the soundtrack cd with a cool segue from Heartbreaker to Whole Lotta love. I want to get the Albert Hall gig on blu ray! In preperation this is the next best thing :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edPEBB6VjRQ&feature=g-vrec Celebration Day was great in theatre! All of the Page virtuoso guitar goodies come out, the georgeous 59' standards, the violin bow, the theremin, and the doubleneck SG. Awsome! kaleb
That should have been the live album, not The Song Remains The Same. When TSRTS was recorded, it was right around the time they lost it. Even though Physical Graffiti and Presence are killer, Plant's voice was gone, and Pagey was too drugged up. IMHO, nothing beats the first two albums. I was at one of my local watering holes last Saturday, and someone played "Kashmir" on the jukebox; it's an epic track, but Plant's voice sickens me on it. It's weak. After that, "Whole Lotta Love" came on and I said, "That's real Zeppelin!" or something like that.
CoreyT
If anyone watches the TV show Revolution, next weeks episode will feature music from the Celebration Day film.
Rocky4
They're my favorite band and I have tons of bootlegs that I love, but they have put out nothing live that hasn't been "edited" Nothing completely honest. I actually hate to see them do this.
