BluesKing777
As a fairly long time computer and online worker, I have come to the realisation that the 'original good idea' of ordering everything online now has reached a crisis point where every person on the planet is ordering one pen to save 2c and getting free delivery, meanwhile the important Express Deliveries like my Beatles Complete Scores is lost out in the delivery ether somewhere. (I jest about the importance of the book). While I do joke, a lot of stuff is getting lost now - there is just too much deliverization goin' on! Unfortunately, the walk-in shops are going bust... Any thoughts? BluesKing777.
Smurfbird
Sad thing is, the local shops aren't even close in price. I considered an MXR dyna comp pedal and it was 65 or so on the web. Local shop: 100+ I wouldn't mind if it was 75, even 80, but that's just too much difference.
blindboygrunt
its also the lack of knowledge , steering you toward a peice of cr@p that they are busting to sell , or just plain BS thats prevalent in a lot of shops that would annoy me also ... a good honest shop would be a place i'd be happier givin my money to
Smurfbird
Agreed. I can't tell if some shops believe the things they say. I was told by the guitar expert to polish my guitar with Pledge. Never mind all the silly pick holders and solid state amps, because no one can tell them apart from a tube....
