LeoSkinner
Hello, i'm Goin to bought a new Gibson LP Special Double Cutaway Faded Cherry Personally I don't like the pickguard, I would Know if there are problems removing this one. It seems all the hardware is not under the pickguard, isn't? Sorry for my poor English & thanks!
DoubleSixx
You should be able just take out the screws.
GuitarJunkie
What I think he wants to know is if there are holes or routing for pickups, wiring, etc. hidden under the pickguard.
DoubleSixx
I'm sorry I thought he meant a regular Les Paul. Maybe you can't remove the pickguard. I was most likely wrong in my first post.

Surfabilly
I do believe the routes are at the back of the body, so removing the pick guard shouldn't pose any problem. I have a Faded Double Cut, which is essentially a cheaper version of the Special (the truss rod cover even says Special). Matt
